City Dues are deciphered by Hermann Fire Department Volunteer Officers. City membership bills go out late June to early July and due July 31st of each year. This is a separate account from Rural so individuals who own properties in both the city and rural will always see two separate bills and should not be paid together as they are different accounts.

Rural dues are deciphered by Hermann Area Rural Fire Association. This board is made up of NON-fire members in the rural area. Rural membership bills go out early January to early February and due March 1st of each year. This is a separate account from City so individuals who own properties in both the rural and city will always see two separate bills and should not be paid together as they are different accounts.

Should you choose NOT to join and service is needed, a fee of $600 for the call and first hour and $500 for each additional hour or any portion thereof will be charged by Hermann Fire Department. Homeowners paying dues covers both fire and vehicle incident.
For those who rent, please know your house is covered by your land/property owner, but you are not covered for vehicular accidents.
